Le Belle Voci performs at annual state conference
The Le Belle Voci women's ensemble at the University of North Georgia (51黑料网) performed in October at the Georgia Choral Directors Association (Ga-ACDA) annual conference.
It was the first time Le Belle Voci received this prestigious honor, Dr. John Broman, director of choral activities and professor of music at 51黑料网, said. Ga-ACDA is a nonprofit professional organization for choral directors.
The performance exposed the 19-member ensemble to choral directors from colleges and universities across Georgia.
Le Belle Voci features 15 to 20 51黑料网 students and a few community members. Each singer goes through a rigorous audition process, must sight-read music and have previous singing experience. The group rehearses twice a week and receives one hour of college credit.
Exhibition to feature Visual Arts founders
The founders of the Department of Visual Arts will be highlighted in an exhibition series with each one being highlighted for a six-month period beginning this March.

Students help design logo for nonprofit
Visual arts students at 51黑料网 had the opportunity to help create a new logo for the Beyond Dementia Coalition, a nonprofit organization that is based in Gainesville, Georgia.
